Seeking Contestants for Network Reality Show In Sacramento, CA

Casting Directors are looking for the perfect neighbors as contestants for a network reality show in the Sacramento area. Each contestant will receive landscaping materials and a professional landscaper to help transform both yards as you and your neighbor compete for the best finished product in this reality landscaping competition.

Submission Rules and Requirements:

*Applicants must be neighbors- live in the same area, preferably a couple of houses away.
*Applicants must know each other.
*Applicants must own property or have written permission from landlord.
*All applicants must include a video submission or Option B.


Option A: Video Submission (1 video per set of neighbors)
Must be 3 min in length_Quality: Videos do not need to be professionally made; we want to see how you really are.

Content: please include the following:
~why you are a good candidate for the show
~explain the relationship/history between neighbors
~why you deserve yard makeovers
~explain why you think you'll beat out your neighbor
~introduce of all family member who would like to be involved in the show
~include footage of exterior of houses, and yards

Casting for new Jerry Seinfeld NBC Reality Show "The Marriage Ref"

What do married couples fight about? Does the wife complain that the husband snores too much? Does the husband complain that his wife eats too much junk food, despite saying she’ll try to be healthy? Do both have a habit the other thinks is crazy? These are some of the things that will be examined on this new show called “The Marriage Ref.”

The Marriage Ref will feature opinionated celebrities, comedians, sports personalities and international A-list stars who will candidly comment, judge and offer different strategies to real-life couples in the midst of a classic marital dispute.

NBC is looking for married couples from the ages of 22-79. "The Marriage Ref" casting team is searching the country for outgoing and opinionated couples in long-term relationships, willing to appear on national television, who have a long standing argument or issue that must be resolved. No problem is too small!

● Is there a third wheel in your relationship (TV, computer, pet, a friend, etc.) and causes a problem?

● Does your partner have an annoying irritating habit or item that causes fights?

● Does your partner do things like withhold sex after a fight?

Whether you argue about parenting, pets, fashion, money, in-laws, weight, housework, chores, communication, neatness, jealousy, past history, friends, sex... Whatever you argue about, the casting team wants to hear from you. Tell them why you absolutely NEED a MARRIAGE REF to weigh in and decide who is RIGHT and who is WRONG.

Casting Director Jesse Rosales says that they are not looking for the dark stuff like cheating, financial downfalls and paternity mysteries. They are looking for things that will make people say, "Hey, I do that" and things that will make people laugh. This is Jerry Seinfeld, not Jerry Springer.

The show is being produced by Jerry Seinfeld and his partner Ellen Rakieten (The Oprah Winfrey Show), and they have signed an international distribution deal with Endemol. Endemol will be the exclusive distributor of the format across all platforms outside of the USA and will produce local versions of the show around the world. Endemol will also globally distribute the NBC series
